Angie Morris

Angie was born and raised in New Mexico, Angie is a recent transplant with her family to the Denver area in 2018. She graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. While at Tulane she was a 4 year varsity letterman on the Green Wave Division I volleyball team. She also earned a Masters of Science in Engineering from Rice University in 1996 as a National Science Foundation Graduate Scholarship student.

Angie was first introduced to Olympic lifting at Tulane. She always enjoyed the strength training aspect of the sport, specifically Olympic lifting. In fact, during her junior year, she was named 1993 Louisiana Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year.

While busy raising 3 kids, she discovered Crossfit in 2013 and fell in love with the sport. She has been a dedicated athlete ever since and earned her Level 1 coaching certification in 2017. She hopes to earn more certifications in the near future, including her Level 2 certification, and she looks forward to helping fellow Intensity Park Meadows athletes reach their full potential.
